Has Apple approved the gothere.sg iPhone app?

You bet they have! It's on sale right now. Get it fast! And just so you know, we are already hard at work adding some new nifty features to it. Visit the app store and find out more about the gothere.sg iPhone app!

Just bought your app and had a play with it. First impressions: UI is very well done, presentation of route searches very clear and slick.

One problem I do have is that I can't find a way to see the amenities, attractions, etc. near a place I searched for - this seems to be only possible with "Browse" but that works only from the current location.

Anyway, keep up the great work and hope to see more improvements to the app! It's a very good start, I can see myself using this when getting around over Google Maps+gothere.sg website.

    Hi Chu Yeow,

Good job noticing that! We'll definitely fix it in the next update. Thanks for your support and encouragement!

Hi guys, great job for the apps. Will you be developing for Blackberry and Android too? It will be really awesome if it can be on these two platform too.

I would love to see an Android version too... Although selling it would be a problem since Google hasn't opened up the marketplace.

I'd agree. Waiting for an Android app!

I've bought it too for my new iPhone. I'm quite happy with it, works really well but personally the 'full price' (US$5 ?) is a bit steep for its category. Graphics are not optimised for iPhone 4 too.

Now the next step is you guys coming up with a GPS device.

Nice app, although I wish there was an option to add "favourite locations", like the Navfone SG Bus MRT app. I'll be using both interchangeably, then :)

Bought the app but disappointed...first the route directions provided me with a longer route. Next ikea alexandra carpark rate is $0.025 and not $0.017 as listed in your apps. End up i parked at ikea thinking its cheaper while in fact i am paying more. I wonder how many carparks listed with wrong rates. If ican get a refund i would do so.

My only gripe is that the app costs a bit too much money, especially as there is a free alternative in the form of a web app. That said, it is a massive improvement over the web app itself, though paying USD$1.99 is a bit too much for the improvements; Maybe USD$0.99 is something more resonable.

If the costs is going mostly because of information for the driving directions, then maybe it will make sense to split the app into two versions: a free version that only provides public transit info, and a paid version that includes driving instructions too.

Nice app.. but when I tried to search Punggol Road End from the iPhone, seems like the database is different from the main gothere.sg web.

ok here's the problem i face.

    for eg.

i am at rendezvous hotel, and seeking to go to funan by bus... it will give me the bus stop opposite SMU and the bus number etc. that's fine and good.

now... i am in chinatown and seeking a way to get somewhere else...

it will keep my current location as the bus stop opposite of SMU to that somewhere else location...

so i click coming from... and it doesn't seem to put me at my current location as i would expect...

i've used maps (built in) which makes so much more sense when it comes to choosing the "to" and "from" location...

so i paid usd1.99 on an app that requires a degree to use?

can make it THAT much simpler to use?

I agree! Would love to see an Android app here, considering the ownership of Android handsets steadily increasing...

when searching for bus arrival times, if there is "no prediction", the alignment looks really ugly.

I was in a forum n ppl inform new updates for the app. Tried last night n i left it in my itune immediately... Ikea alexandar carpark rates is still wrong n not updated. Wats the point of introducing new things where your initial functions r not giving the right info... Now i wonder how many carparks r gving wrong rates

I was wondering if you can develop an offline version of this app for iTouch users which provide basic information for taking the fastest route.

That would be awesome and would totally warrant me buying the app.

Thanks for another excellent post. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
